Why Even Bother?
Why bother? Because living your life to the fullest truly is an option. Just going through your day, answering every “how are you question?” question with “ugh I am so tired…” or just grinning and saying that everything is OK even when it is NOT.
That is no way to live!
I am currently most of the way through being pregnant and have decided to share my challenges and what I have learned so far.
My name is Audrey Castles and this is my health journey. This is a journey of ups and downs, discoveries and set-backs. This is a journey of exciting breakthroughs and breakdowns. But most importantly, this is a journey I am still taking. I hope that by reading this, you will be encouraged, informed and simply know that there is so much more potential life to live every day.
I have a long and challenging history with health and nutrition. Most of it has been learning how many health issues I could simply stop dealing with if I had known what I know now.
I have journeyed (and am still journeying) through many health challenges:
- Anorexia (past)
- IBS (current)
- Hypothyroidism (current but controlled)
- Gluten Intolerance (current but controlled…unless it’s too tempting)
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ongoing)
- Adrenal Fatigue (newly discovered)
If any of you have dealt with or are currently facing any of these challenges, I would love to hear from you. I would love to get to know you and find ways that we can encourage each other. I want you to know that there is so many more options out there and to not give up! The answer is closer than you think, life is here right now for you to live, and health plays a huge role in living to the fullest.
Can you ENVISION it?
A life where you go to work, and mean what you say when you tell people “I feel great!” A life where you come home and you get to enjoy your family and it isn’t a battle of overwhelming exhaustion and pain. Imagine not just enduring the work week and trying to savor the weekend before you have to go back. Does that vision make you feel alive?
“Where there is no vision, the people perish…”
